Albert R. Burlingame, age 63, W. Erie St., Jefferson, died Monday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

He was born April 22, 1953 in Ashtabula, the son of Howard & Frances (Karg) Burlingame and has resided in this area all of his life.  Albert was a U. S. Marine veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was married to Lynn M. Doll on August 28, 2010 in Jefferson.  Albert was a press operator for 28 years with Presrite Corp. in Jefferson before being let go due to health issues.

He was a member of the Jefferson Eagles Aeire Lodge #3881 and also served on the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Dept for 12 years.  He loved fishing, camping, cookouts and being with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn, his step-mother, Betty Burlingame of Jefferson, seven children, Kendra Rodgers & Monica Sieffert, both of Jefferson, Albert Burlingame of Florida, Brandy Schmerer of Windsor Twp., Amber Schmerer of Girard, PA, and Michele Roth & Christie Brown, both of Ashtabula, 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four brothers, Bruce Burlingame of Jefferson, Ronald Burlingame of Ashtabula, Denny Patterson of Jefferson & Mike Patterson of Michigan and two sisters, Phyllis Woodworth of Dorset & Lois McArthur of Jefferson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Phillip Burlingame and a great-grandson, Alex Gray.

Dewey-Howlett Post #103 of the American Legion will offer military honors Saturday at 4:00 P. M. with a memorial service to immediately follow at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with Tom Allen, associate with the Eagleville Bible Church officiating.
