Dear Val and Dee,
I had no idea of this terrible news of Vance's passing until just now. I had to read the notice over and over to be certain that this was Vance...that funny, sweet, kindhearted Vance. This doesn't seem possible. I am so very sorry. This is something so unexpected and so unthinkable. Vance was always so hilarious. He would be so thoughtful. And I know he adored you both...just as you adored him. I'm struggling for some kind of words to make sense of this, but nothing does make sense when we lose someone so young and so unexpectedly. I feel so sad about this loss. Please know I am thinking of you all. You are all in my heart and in my prayers. Vance is still around, keeping watch over you both.

With love, Elaine

Delores and Valerie,

My sincere sympathies in the loss of your son and brother, Vance. May the love you have for him and he for you bring you peace in the months and years to come. He and his dad are together again, so I hope this brings you some measure of comfort. Vance will be missed by many. God Bless you both.
