Sorry to hear of your loss.
I was Ray and Jeans paper boy from about 1984 to 1985 and helped at the urging of Ray, the carpenter build the "new" garage at the house on rt 20. When delivering the paper I would sometimes hang out in the shop with Ray and watch him fabricate things from what appeared to be thin air. I was also cutting grass for people at the time and was having trouble with my lawn mower. I told Ray and he had me bring it over. Within a couple of hours he had the mower deck repaired with a piece of steel he fabricated, the carburetor tuned and had given it a valve job. It ran like new! I learned a lot from him that day and the days I would hang out with him in the shop. Things I carry to this day. What a great man!
