True gentleman, David stayed with us in Scotland nearly 25 years ago and we met him often in Lake Worth, Florida, when we came over on holiday. God bless him.

I've struggled to find the words and cry as I share those I can find now. Joey and I spent so many moments with Camping, starting in south Florida, then for years in LA. We enjoyed many meals, shows, jokes, and silliness together. I remember David's big, belly laughing the most. He was such a kind, generous, loyal and honest man. We used to call him the boy scout.
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your son, Betty. He spoke so highly of his family, often showing us photos of his niece and nephew as they grew, along with the pup.
I was honored to meet aunt Betty and you when you visited LA, and still have the holiday hanging you gave to Joe and me as a gift.
David and family have been and will remain in my prayers for comfort and peace. xoxo

Mrs. Campbell and Kelly,
So sorry for your loss. Mollie and I spent a lot of time with Dave when he first moved out to LA. We took trips to Catalina and Vegas and I can not tell you how many movies we saw together over those years. He was a good friend and true gentlemen in every sense of the word. I believe he was loved and respected by all that knew him and he will be deeply missed. May God watch over you during this difficult time.
Sincerely, The Demalines

So deeply saddened to know of David's passing. David and I met at a screening of short films, Hollywood Shorts at The Gig on Pico Blvd. in West Los Angeles. Over the years, we continued to talk film and talk football. Whenever I had a film project that I needed an extra set of hands behind the camera or a skilled actor in front of the camera, David was always willing to help and with a smile. His positive attitude was contagious and his attention to detail saved me more that a few times in the editing room. David's ability to brighten a room and bring people together was inspiring. Come football season, we both being alumni from The Ohio State University, would gather with other football fans and cheer the Buckeyes on somewhere in the big city of LA. David was also an avid outdoorsman and spoke frequently about his adventures in Ohio and how he looked forward to returning to his childhood home in Ohio to walk the woods and spend time with his mother and sister. My prayers goes out to you in your time of sorrow.

Dave was a few years ahead of me in high school and I worked a few summers with him at Madsen Doughnuts. Working was more enjoyable when he was there. My memories of him are good.. Always sweet and kind and fun to be around, a good soul. I am so sorry for your loss.

We are very saddened to hear of David'd passing. He was a great friend, team mate, and gentleman. We went our separate ways after High School but he always found a way to keep in touch (even before social media). I always appreciated hearing from him and about his acting endeavors. Regrettably, we are unable to make it back to Ohio for his services, so please pass on our condolences to Betty and Kelly,

My wife and I are deeply saddened by the news of David's passing. I met David in Jupiter, Florida when I was in Burt Reynold's acting school. We became friends and spent quite a bit of time together over the years here in Los Angeles. David must have helped me rehearse my acting lines for more than 30 auditions that I had over the years. He'd frequently check in with me around the holidays and spent a few holiday meals with our family. He was one of the kindest and good hearted people I've known. An avid Ohio State & Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He spoke of his mother often and shared thoughts of one day moving back home. He missed his family but also loved his pursuit of acting in Los Angeles. We will miss him. It's moments like these that give me great pause because I wish that I had spent even more time with David now. May God accept his soul into Heaven and give him rest and peace until we all see him again. We love and miss you David! Matt & Tina Battaglia

I am so sad to hear of David's passing.
I first met him when he came to the UK and then again when I visited LA. He never hesitated to drive over to meet up and take us to a bar or restaurant he knew.
I will miss his friendship greatly.
RIP my friend.

Dave was one of my best friends through middle school, and highschool. We played football together. He was Campi, #81, tight end for geneva high school, class of 83. I was Winch, #38, fullback for geneva highschool. Class of 83. Dave had a way of making the things he was passionate about, infectious to others. He was a very kind hearted man, who i am honored to call a friend. May god bless you and your family David Wayne Campbell.
