William “Jerry” Hodge
JEFFERSON - Jerry Hodge, 55, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2024.
He was born on April 16, 1969, in Euclid, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Rita (Colt) Hodge.
Jerry graduated from Jefferson High School and Ashtabula Co. J.V.S. in 1987.
On June 12, 1999, Jerry married Heather Osborne, the love of his life; and together they built a beautiful life together with their three children: Rachel, Taylor and Trent.
Jerry loved being outdoors; he loved boating, golfing, skiing and hiking (especially with his grandson and “grand pups”). He enjoyed getting on his Harley Davidson and hitting the open road. But most of all he enjoyed the time spent with family and friends, that was filled with love and always plenty of laughter.
Jerry had a big old loving and generous heart, a great big sense of humor, and big plans for his and his family’s future as he got closer to retirement. He was a “jack-of-all-trades” who could do anything he put his mind to.
He is survived by his loving family; his wife Heather; his children: Rachel (Kevan Gray), Taylor and Trent; his grandson Brently Spangler; his mother Rita and step-father Tim Pasbrig; his mother-in-law Dianne Osborne; his step-mother Cindi Hodge; his brother Joseph Hodge III, and sister Jessica (Robert) Brown; his step-siblings: Dina Hines, Mike Russell, Christine (Sam) Hamilton, and Shawn Pasbrig; and his brother-in-law Shawn (Kris) Osborne and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph in 2017; his grandparents: Joseph and Marie Hodge and William and Eliene Colt; his father-in-law Roger Osborne and his brother-in-law Greg (Missi) Osborne.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 49 W. Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio
Memorial contributions can be made in Jerry’s name to the Ashtabula Co. M.H.& R.S. Suicide Prevention Coalition; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
