William "Bill" Wickert

William “Bill” Charles Wickert, 85, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2026.

He was born on December 3, 1940, to Roland and Ollie Wickert. Bill graduated from Rock Creek High School in 1958. On August 20, 1989, he married his beloved wife, Jane Phelps.

Bill had a lifelong love of old cars, especially Fords and Chevys. He enjoyed collecting and restoring them and took great pride in his work.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Wickert; daughter, Deborah (John) Switzer; grandchildren, Sara Switzer and Catherine (Jake) Bierbaum; great-grandson, Jaxon Pasquino; and brother, Tom Wickert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Ollie Wickert.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
