He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1964. He married his high school sweetheart, Laurie Gilak in June 28th, 1965, and enjoyed over 57 wonderful years of marriage.
Bill was a loving husband and father. He was the epitome of hard work, having a long and successful career in retail management working for J.A. Conley’s, Jason’s, and Travel Centers of American.
Bill was a do-it-yourself man, finding pleasure in home remodeling, putting up Christmas lights, gardening, and mowing his lawn. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State football. His children and grandchildren will fondly remember many a Dad joke, always delivered with a wide grin and self-satisfied tone.
He was father to Shelley (Frank) Sikich, Stephen, Shaun (deceased), Jonathon (deceased), daughter Shannon, and Stephanie (Matt) Wintz. He was Grandpa Fuzzy to Joshua (Stephanie), Sean, and Taylor Sikich, Phoebe Sybrandt, and Emerson, River, and Wyatt Wintz, and great grandfather to Eleanore Sikich.
