William Hill, 79, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 29, 2023.
He was born on April 28, 1944, the son of Theodore A. and Frances Hill.
William enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he proudly served his country from 1963 to 1967.
William married the love of his life, Edith E. Hill, they shared over thirty wonderful years of marriage together until her passing in January of 1996.
He was an avid bowler and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He was the “life of the party” and was known for being a fun, loving, social person who never met a stranger, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his beloved daughters: Natalie Zee, Michelle Fry, Nicole Varkett, Amanda Hill and Melinda Schovall; his ten grandchildren and his five great, grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parent’s and his brother, Albert “Skip” Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 11:00a-3:00p at the Hope Community Church, 573 Goodale Road in Jefferson, Ohio. A luncheon to follow the Celebration of Life.
The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate staff at the Country Club Nursing Home and the Hospice of the Western Reserve, the care they showed our father was exceptional.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Will’s name to The Biscotti Shop, 43 West Walnut Street in Jefferson.
