Wanda R. Maille Moses, 90 of Ashtabula died Sunday (January 3rd) in Ashtabula. She was born August 25, 1930 in Ashtabula the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Wilson) Loyd.
She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and had worked at various businesses in the Ashtabula area most recently at the Yum Yum Tree at the Ashtabula Mall.
She is a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling and was active in the Heights Pinochle Club; the Ladies Auxilliary of VFW Post 943 where she was past president. She was on the Board of Directors of the AWBA; she was on the Church Council and she was a Girl Scout Leader and Cookie Chairman.
Surviving her are her children, Deborah (Miles Homan) Carroll of Wilmington, Delaware, Janine (Don) Hutzell of Kingsville, Jeffrey (Janet) Maille of North Kingsville, a daughter-in-law, Patricia Maille of Lakewood, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Louis Maille; her second husband, Robert Moses; her son, David Maille in 2014 and by seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be Friday (January 8th) at 1:00 pm at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio with Pastor Michael Meranda officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Face Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged.
