Walter L. Milam, 77, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 25, 2025.
He was born on January 2, 1948, in Cool Ridge, West Virginia, to John and Ella (Lester) Milam.
Walter graduated from Harbor High School in 1966 and married his loving wife, Shirley Conley, in 1969.
He dedicated 19 years of his career to Process Technology before retiring. Walter was a passionate and dedicated fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes Football Team and he also enjoyed fishing.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Milam, and their daughter, Kelley (Brian) Novotny.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: John, James, Bonnie, Dolly, Marvin, Vernon, Dallas, Donzie, and Kenny.
Services for Walter will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at FLEMING-BILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 526 W. Prospect, Ashtabula, Ohio; calling hours will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM. with Rev. Kenny Roberts officiating.
