Virginia L. (Dodge) Boytz-Willing

Virginia L. Willing, 92, of Ashtabula, passed away on February 18, 2021 at Geneva Village Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on June 10, 1928, the daughter of Loren and Elise (Bell) Dodge in Madison, OH.

Virginia worked as a Waitress for the Jefferson diner, Rockwell Brake and Fisher Food. She was a member of VFW #943 Ladies Auxiliary and the Ashtabula Senior Center.  Virginia enjoyed Square dancing, knitting and crocheting.  She just loved watching her Cleveland Indians.  She was a proud, loving and hardworking mother of 7 and she will be missed dearly.

Virginia is survived by her six daughters: Mary (Al) Jeppe, Carol (Les Dixon) Hoyt, Bobbie (

Lanny) Swiger , Susan (George) Hommel, Sandy (James) Bischoff, Donna (Matt) Dingle; her son, Frank (Tina Furman) Boytz; 16 grandchildren,  25 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank F. Boytz in 1959; 6 brothers and two sisters; and her grandson Jason Boytz

A Private Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 323 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio with Alisa Nierzejewski, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. 

A celebration of life will be held sometime this coming summer.
