Susan E. Williams, age 55 of Jefferson, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning at her residence.
She was born December 15, 1964 in Bedford, the daughter of the late George & Lois E. (Thieman) Burns, Jr. and has resided in the Jefferson area the past 30 years. Susan worked with Tree Preservation as a tree trimmer before having to take disability retirement.
Susan had many great enjoyments, her dogs Nikki & Sage often were top priority, woodworking, bottle digging, riding 4-wheelers, music, her “woman’s cave”-her garage and trips to Cook Forest in Pennsylvania. Susan loved people, always others before herself. She was a kind, beautiful soul that loved her wife, kids and grandkids with all her heart.
Survivors include her wife, Lori A. Sedilko; four children, Jason (Tasha) Williams & Jessica Hampton, both of Jefferson, Alex Williams of Tacoma, WA & Corey Williams of Jefferson; five grandchildren, Aiden, Leandra, Caroline, C. J. & Draven; a sister, Kathleen (Ron) Bonkowski of Stow and two brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Burns & Thomas (Kim) Burns, both of Orlando, FL.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson with the Rev. Preston Watkins of the First United Methodist Church in Ashtabula officiating.
Calling hours will be Monday from 6-8PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson where social distancing will be observed with a limited number of persons inside at one time.
