Susan Oliver passed away on October 22, 2025, and entered her Lord’s presence. She was joyfully reunited with her beloved parents, Thomas and Marta, and her siblings, Nancy and Thomas Jr., who welcomed her home.
A proud Riverside High School graduate, Susan found fulfillment in her work at TOD Thin Brushes Inc. and Ashcroft Industries in Ohio. She took great pride in crafting products that reflected her creative spirit.
Created in God’s image, Susan’s life was a testament to this truth. Her passion for creativity shone through her employment, hobbies and the beautiful things she made and shared with others- whether through arts and crafts or the simple joys she cherished.
Known for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and ready hugs, Susan treasured time spent with relatives, especially over a delicious home-cooked meal. Despite her life’s challenges and limitations, Susan had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in people, always observing them with kindness and finding their best qualities.
Susan left a unique mark at Crayola Corporation, where she playfully “extracted the best” from the first 20% of her crayons, generously leaving the rest for others to enjoy. Her creativity found its truest expression in the thoughtful cards and notes she crafted to uplift those around her, turning simple gestures into treasures of encouragement.
Susan is survived by her brother, Mike, her brother-in-law Albert, and cherished extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great- nieces and nephews. Though Susan’s loving presence will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that the limitations she faced in this life are no more. They look forward to the day they will see her again, whole and radiant, free from all earthy constraints.
