Steve Christ

Steve Christ, 57, suffered a massive heart attack and passed away at home on May 5, 2023. 

He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on August 30, 1965, the son of Dale and Carol (Myers) Christ.

Steve was a semi-truck driver for many years, a job he absolutely loved; he also worked in the past for Eastern Petroleum in the gas and oil well business, and as a manager for a garden supply store for many years.  He was a “jack-of-all-trades” and there was nothing he wouldn’t attempt to build or fix. He was the type of man that when someone called for help, he would drop everything and be right there for his friends and family.  He was also a past member of the Jefferson Grange and the Jefferson United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, riding motorcycles, and was a collector of “many things”. He was a good cook and really enjoyed grilling out for the family.  Above all he loved his family.

He was survived by his parents Dale and Carol; his brother Frank (Brittani DiBell) Christ; many aunts and uncles we loved dearly and his niece and nephews he loved like they were his own: Markus, Marissa, Michael and Leo.

A Celebration of Life service will be held this summer and announced by the family.
