Shirley Jean (Patterson) Fogle, of Dorset, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 70.
She was born on June 30, 1955, in West Virginia, to the late Lawrence and Zylpha (Monroe) Patterson.
Shirley had a heart full of love and laughter. Known for her contagious giggle, she brought joy to everyone around her and cherished the time she spent with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed traveling back to West Virginia to visit loved ones.
Over the years, she worked for Channel Products and Alphabet in Orwell, Ohio, and also enjoyed hauling Amish friends, making countless memories along the way. She was a proud and active member of the Ashtabula County Wagon Train.
Her passions included crafting, tending to flowers, and sharing in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also adored her beloved pet, Rosebud, who was always by her side.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her children: Darla (Don) Braden, Selena (Dan) Jones, John Fogle III, Tina Isbell, and Brian Fogle; her special niece Jackie (Jodi) Woodworth; her grandchildren Kayla, Thomas (Shelby), Danielle, Alysha, Shyanne, Vinnie, Logan, Malaya, John IV, Charity, Theresa (Lance), Michael, Elissia (Kendall), Nathan (Brad), Lydia (Nick), Quinton (Olivia); and her great-grandchildren Jack Daniel (JD), Hayden, Gavin, Roman, Mason, Oliver, Owen, Summer, Parker, Avery, Ben, River, Christian, Jackson, Cadence, and Charlie.
She is also survived by her siblings Lavern (Karen) Patterson, Harold (Dawn) Patterson, Robert Patterson, and Emma (Mark) Drda; her aunt Wanda McKinney; along with many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Larry Patterson, Jonny Patterson, Judy Turner, Nancy (Charles) Plott, and Dora McGirr; her former husband John Fogle II; and her children Wayne Fogle and Terry Fogle. Her memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the family and friends who were blessed to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 13, 2025 from 1:00-7:00 at the Dorset Community Center, 2681 OH-193, Dorset, Ohio
