Shirley Lee (Ferry) Bogner

GENEVA -Shirley Lee Bogner, 60, passed away on December 6, 2021 at UH Geneva Medical Center. She was born in Warren, Ohio on September 8, 1961. On November 1, 1993 she married the love of her life David Carl Bogner. Shirley was a 1979 graduate of Grand Valley High School and worked many years as a nurses aide at Jefferson Healthcare. She loved needlepoint, painting by numbers, and supporting as many charities as she could afford to; Shirley was always giving and loving, and there to help anyone in need. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church; The Saybrook Grange and the Geneva Lions. She is survived by her loving husband David; her siblings Carolyn Rigden, Alice Hart and Billy Hart; as well as countless nieces and nephews who absolutely adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Macel (Shaffer) Ferry; her siblings: Jeff Hart, Barbara Ogle, Ray Hart, Leonard Hart, Allen Hart, David Hart, Jim Schaffer and John Hart. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday (Dec. 10th) at 12:00p.m. in Rome Center Cemetery in Rome Township.
