Sharon Fay (Russell) Dietrich, 70, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2021, at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born on August 7, 1951, in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Albert and Ruby May (Scott) Russell.
Sharon graduated from Geneva High School in 1969. She married the love of her life Donald Dietrich on July 18, 1970; recently celebrating fifty-one years of marriage.
Sharon was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed quilting, puzzles, shopping, cooking, baking, canning, and gardening. She was a member of the Ashtabula County Quilters and was a past Girl Scouts Leader. Sharon always felt very blessed to be a stay at home mom and she lived her life devoted to caring for her children and grandchildren, something she wouldn't have traded for the world.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald, her children: Donald (Wendy) Dietrich, John (Michelle) Dietrich, Amy (Todd) Alisesky, Eric (Jessica) Dietrich and Jacob Morgan (Kristal) Dietrich, her grandchildren that she absolutely adored: Lauren, Thomas, Riley, Kaylee, Andacy (Dwayne Hanson), Eric, Nathaniel, Tyler, Brendon, Starla and Haley; her sisters: Judith Balla and Diannia Faulkerson and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Russell and Ruby May Brubach, and her grandson, John Alisesky.
In honor of her request a private family service will be held at Fleming and Billman Funeral in Jefferson, Ohio.
