Sally Mae Roth

Sally Mae Roth, 77, passed away on February 12, 2024, at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Middlefield, Ohio.

She was born on August 3, 1946, in New Lyme Township, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Eva (Craft) Gaines. 

On August 20, 1963, Sally married her beloved husband, Richard Roth, they spent fifty-one wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in November of 2015. 

Sally enjoyed bowling, playing scrabble and cards, going to flea markets and antiquing.  She truly loved her cats and dogs and found great joy and happiness in spending time with her beloved family. 

She is survived by her loving children: Shelly (James) Strathern and Jeremy Roth; her siblings, Beverly Emerson and Shirley (Ike) Humphrey; her grandchildren: Kenny, Todd, Amanda, Gary and Marcus and her great grandchildren: Lilly, Connor, Evan, Myles, Kyley, Christian and Adeline. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Roth; her son, Brian Roth and her brother, David Gaines. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 11:00a - 12:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00p at the Eagleville Bible Church, 1981 OH-45, Rock Creek, Ohio. Burial will be held at 2:30p at Brownville Cemetery in New Lyme Township, Ohio.
