Rosemary Smith, 79 formerly of Geneva died Saturday at the home of her daughter in Garfield Hts, Ohio.
She was born December 5, 1940 in Wayland, Kentucky the daughter of Edward and Canzalin (Short) Jefferson.
She had worked at Jefferson Manufacturing until her retirement.
She enjoyed flowers, bird watching, NASCAR racing, The Cleveland Browns, boating and fishing.
Surviving her are her children, Vicky (Henry) Miernik of Garfield Hts, Ohio, Gregory (Grace) Wimbs of Geneva, Theresa (John) Putt of Trumbull Twp., Michelle Wimbs of Ft. Myers, Florida and Debbie (George) Batvinis of Brooker, Florida eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two siblings, Cloteen Cartmel of Mentor, Ohio and Jackie Jefferson of Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first Husband, Earl Wimbs, her second Husband, Louis Smith, a daughter Lisa Wimbs and a grandson Noah Wimbs in 1999.
Private graveside services will be held at Trumbull Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
