Ronald E. Kelsey

Ronald Edward Kelsey, 80, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025.

He was born on August 5, 1944, to Clyde and Dorothy (Rood) Kelsey.

Ronald proudly served his country in the Air Force. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was working on cars, sitting on his front porch, or listening to his favorite country music.

Ronald leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly: his children, Jennifer Kelsey, Joseph Kelsey, Tracy Kelsey, and Ronald Parnell; his cherished grandchildren, Mikia, Aliyah, Daniella, Jenna, Amelia, Allison, Megan, Sarah, Erika, Amber, Adrianna, Joseph “JJ,” Melissa, Richard, Mary, and Sara; 16 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Tina Hackathorn, Debbie Hurst, Gene (Betty) Kelsey, and Larry (Ruth) Kelsey.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margie Kelsey, his parents, and brothers Gary and Jerry.

A devoted family man, Ronald’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.

Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service On Wednesday, April 9 at  Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 49 W Jefferson St, Jefferson, Ohio. Ronald will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville, where he will be honored with military rites.
