ASHTABULA – Robin Kathleen (Sayre) Metz, 62, passed away January 10, 2022 at her home following a brief illness.

She was born in Conneaut, Ohio, on October 20, 1959 the daughter of Ralph and Caroline (Case) Sayre.

Robin graduated from Conneaut High School in 1977. 

She retired from Perfection in Geneva 3 years ago, after 17 years of service.  She enjoyed quilting with her mom, always enjoyed doing crafts of any kind; loved cooking; and she and her husband Jack spent many summers camping at Evergreen Campgrounds in Conneaut. 

She is survived by her loving family: her husband Jack Metz; her mother Caroline Benson; her children: Sabrina (Joe) Ramirez, James (Jenni) Wick, and Veronica (Rob) Rowan; 6 grandchildren; and her siblings: David (Lorri) Sayre, Sheri Sayre, Staci (Reid) Wadsworth, and Sandy (Mike) Lago.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Wick, her father Ralph (Ginger) Sayre and her step-father Lewis Benson.

Friends and family are invited to join for a Celebration of Life at Gateway Church 2300 Austinburg Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. On February 5th, 11am - 2pm. Prayers and a meal to follow at 12pm.
