Obituary
Robert D. Long, 62, passed away on April 16, 2023, at his home in North Kingsville, Ohio.
He was born on September 22, 1960, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Charles D. Long and Margaret J. (Robinson) Long Shipley.
Robert worked at Domino Logistics as a Warehouse Manager.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his beloved dog, Zerkon.
Robert is survived by his mother; his stepfather, Reverend Harry Shipley; his fiancé Angela Jones; his siblings: Laura Long (Robert Patterson), Douglas (Nicole) Long and Elizabeth (Keith) Kohl; his nieces and nephews: David, Christopher, Sarah, Joshua, Jaquline, Joseph and Rebecca; and his great-nephews: Collin and Benjamin.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th, from 5:00p-8:00p and on Friday, April 21st, from 10:00a-11:00a with a funeral service to follow at 11:00a at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 526 West Prospect Road in Ashtabula. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Greenlawn Cemetery.
