Robert Lee Hughes, 81, also known as “Bob” died Friday (October 22nd) at Cleveland Clinic Marymount in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bob was born January 29, 1940 to the late J.D. and Beatrice Hughes in Magnolia, Mississippi.
Funeral service will be Saturday (October 30th) at 11:00 am at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd. with Rev. Dr. German Womack, Jr officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday (Oct. 29th) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Eunice of 38 years, his siblings: Emma Harris, Willie Hughes, Betty Hughes, Linda Mayberry, Maxine Tate, Larry Hughes and Jeanette Hughes.
He leaves to cherish his most precious memories: a son, Marvin D. Hughes of McComb MS a special daughter Monique (Damon) Williams of Ashtabula, a sister, Judy (Robert) Smith of McComb, MS, 2 brothers, Herbert (Pearlie) Hughes of Washington, DC and Tommie (Mamie) Hughes of ST. Paul, NC; two very special nieces, Dorothy Harris of Ashtabula and Marchella "Miss Daisy" (Mark) Seals of Olive Branch, MS, a special uncle, Alfonse (Bus) Carter of Murfreesboro, TN; special children, Alisa (Jerry) Nierzejewski, a sister-in-law, Deanna Hughes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
