Robert D. Falke

Robert D. Falke, age 81, Jefferson, died Saturday morning in the emergency room at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center.

He was born March 14, 1938 in Butler, NY, the son of Dwight R. & Dora M. (Candee) Falke and has lived in this area since 1977.  Robert was married to Karen G. Graves in Warren, PA on August 24, 1963.  He held a Master’s of Divinity degree and served as a pastor for the Church of the Nazarene, retiring in 2000.  He pastored in Ellwood City, PA, Missouri, East Liverpool, Ashtabula, Edgewood Church of the Nazarene and was an associate of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene.  Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; three children, Carrie B. Runnion of Jefferson, Scott D. (Kristin) Falke of Jefferson & Kimberly L. (D. Troy) Durkovic of Oregon, OH; 11 grandchildren, Katie, Reese, Jacob, Nathaniel, Joshua, Nickolas, Benjamin, Hannah, Noah, Gabriella & Natalie; three great-grandchildren, Paige, Gavin & Faye; two sisters, Lois (Rev. Edward) Crandall of Beaver Dams, NY & Carol (Francis) Yerdon of Camden, NY and a brother, Glen (Sherry) Falke of Beaver Dams, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Martin & Esther Niciu and a brother, Dale Falke.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, 2/9/20 at 6:00 PM at the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene, 55 E. Satin St., Jefferson with Pastor Curtis Cecil officiating.  Burial of cremains will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
