Richard Eugene Sintz, 79, went home to be with Jesus on September 23, 2021 at his home in Jefferson with his wife by his side.
He was born on February 13, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Richard and Norma Jean (Frye) Sintz.
Richard married the love of his life Joann Stanley on July 6, 1963, together they raised two wonderful children and recently celebrated their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary.

Richard had many interests and hobbies: he collected pins and metal magnets, he loved listening to Southern Gospel music and watching Southern Gospel videos. He was also a fan of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jim Reeves music in the 1950’s-1960’s.
Richard is survived by his loving family: his wife, Joann (Stanley) Sintz; his children: Roberta (Jim) Wimer and Carrie (Michael) Bednarski; his sister, Linda Fitzsemmons; his grandchildren: Tabitha (Dustin) Becker, Joanna (Joseph) Bryner, Andrew (Emily) Bednarksi, Simon (Siera) Bednarksi, Sarah (Adam) Hamilton and Sarah Galloway and nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Margaret Sintz, his grandparents who raised him: Victor and Loretta Dalaney and his sister, Karen Dempsey.
