Richard W. Naberezny
Obituary
Richard Wallace Naberezny went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2023.
Rich embodied the principle of Carpe Diem and lived a very full life. After serving in the US NAVY (1972-1976) and working as a certified welder, he enjoyed a forty-year long career as a rebuild mechanic in Ashtabula. Most would say he was busier after he retired. He engaged in tasks such as tree equipment repair, plane restoration, wood working, teaching youth how to weld at Lake Erie College, and working on cars.
Rich always offered a helping hand to anyone in need and could fix anything! He was a loving father, a devoted husband, and a doting grandfather.
Richard is survived by his wife, Sherri Naberezny (Pal); his daughter, Nicole Deater (Naberezny); his son, Nathan Naberezny; his stepdaughter, Taiylor Calaway, and his granddaughters, Acacia Deater and Dorothy Naberezny.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Patricia; his siblings, Donna and Michael; his wife and mother of his children, Sharon (Russell) Naberezny .
A Celebration of Life is in planning to be held at a later date.
