Richard D. Lillie

Richard D. Lillie, 81, passed away on October 1, 2024, at his home in Monroe Township, Ohio.

He was born on November 10, 1942, in Ashtabula, Ohio; the son of Richard and Maxine (Dansereau) Lillie.

On February 28, 1964, Richard married Susan Suttles; this past February they celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Richard worked for Bow Socket in Ashtabula, Ohio, as well as being a lifelong dairy farmer.

He enjoyed farming, hunting and spending time outdoors. He was an old car enthusiast who loved his black, 1970 GTO.

Richard is survived by his wife, Susan Lillie; his children, Rex (Tammy) Lillie and Kimberly (Alan) Kreider; his sister, Roberta (Ted) Hand and his grandchildren: Justin (Brea) Lillie, Krystin Lillie, Rex Lillie, Jr., Aaron Lillie, Chris (Chrissy) Preston, Brandon (Megan) Mullins, Justin (Kalyn) Mullins, Mallory (Philip) Yeung and Ian (Gretchen) Kreider.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00a-12:00p with a funeral service at 12:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 526 West Prospect Street in Ashtabula. Immediately following the service, he will be laid to rest at Kellogsville Cemetery.
