Regina R. Glover, age 60 a resident Jefferson since 1978, went home to be with the Lord on Monday in the emergency room at ACMC following extended health issues.
She was born July 15, 1961 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Robin & Joyce (Clark) Hudson. Regina loved people and had a special ability to reach them in a deep and positive way. Born out of her sincere love for others, was her avid support of Relay for Life where she served as a chairman and participant. Regina met no strangers and freely gave out encouraging words to others, helping to make their day.
Regina was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church. She loved Jesus and telling others about him.
Regina married Wayne Glover, the love of her life on July 18, 1981 in Jefferson. They were blessed with one daughter, Robyn Glover and two grandchildren, Aaliyah & Kjay, whom they are raising, and their youngest grandson, Timothy.
Regina enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling, especially going on cruises with Wayne, helping others and playing board games.
Regina is survived by her husband of 41 years, Wayne; her daughter, Robyn Glover; three grandchildren; siblings, Diana (William) Osborne, Reginald, Tina & Richard Hudson and Cordell Knowles; brothers and sisters-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steven Hudson.
Visitation will be from 9-10AM with a memorial service starting at 10:00AM on Friday at the Jefferson United Methodist Church 125 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Doug Winner officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at the S. Denmark Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in c/o Wayne Glover, 1897 Lenox-New Lyme Rd., Jefferson, OH 44047.
