Ray Hines

Ray Hines, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3rd surrounded by his family.

He was born July 24, 1941, the son of Wayne and Flora (Evans) Hines.

Ray married the love of his life Mary Ann Harakal on April 25, 1964.

Ray enjoyed motorcycles, fast cars, and driving semi over the road.

He was a proud member of Teamsters local Union 377.

Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann (Harakal) Hines; his children: Michael (Wendy) Gene Hines, Brenda (Randy) Jean Carr, Daniel (Karen) Ray Hines, Penny (Andy) Jo Westfall, and James Patrick Hines; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, his sister, Arlene Lewis, his sister, Marge Burns, and 3 great grandbabies.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 7th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Fleming & Billman funeral home, 49 W. Jefferson St. Jefferson, Ohio. Funeral service on Saturday, June 8th at 10:00am. Ray will be laid to rest at Dorset cemetery. 
Family will be hosting a celebration of life on his birthday (July 24) at Harpersfield Dam.
