Philip James Alanen

Philip James Alanen, born June 23, 1957, in Fairport, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2024.

Philip devoted 44 years of his life to WEK Industries, where he worked as a Senior Processing Engineer. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling, pursuits that brought him much joy. You could frequently find him at home blasting his favorite classic rock albums. Despite being a man of few words, he brought laughter to all who knew him through his dry sense of humor.

Philip is survived by his wife, Pam Alanen; his ex-wife Dee Alanen; his sons, Philip Marcus Alanen and Robert Alanen (Jamee Colucci); and his brother, Tom Alanen (Maggie Alanen).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Phyllis Alanen. He will be remembered for the love he had for his sons, his sharp wit, and his passion for his hobbies. He leaves behind cherished memories and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
