Pearl Leona (Gemmel) Ellinger

Pearl L. Ellinger, age 107, died Thursday afternoon at the Jefferson Healthcare Center.

She was born July 15, 1913 in Cleveland, the daughter of David & Louise (Hartwig) Gemmel and resided in Cleveland until 2006, when she relocated to Roaming Shores to live with her daughter, Pearl Franklin.

Mrs. Ellinger enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is survived by two daughters, Pearl L. (Gary) Franklin of Roaming Shores & Louise M. Giancola of West Farmington; seven grandchildren, Lisa Thompkins, Richard Sigmund, Sharon (David) Betker, Dawn Franklin, Gary (Megan) Franklin, Jr., Summer (Todd) Brainard & Ryan (Arin) Franklin and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank A. Ellinger in 1981; a sister, Ethel Keils and two grandsons, Michael Sigmund & Ronald Thompkins
