Paul G. Mason

Paul G. Mason- Ashtabula Twp. Age 59 passed away peacefully in his sleep June 9, 2023. Paul was born June 29, 1963 in Ashtabula, the son of William R. and the late Shirley Mason.

He graduated from Edgewood Sr. High School- Class of 1981. He graduated from Lakeland Community College, and was a Registered Respiratory Therapist, starting his career at University Hospitals in Cleveland, then taking a position at Ashtabula County Medical Center in 1989, which he continued until his passing.

Paul was the quiet, funniest guy in the room, loved to travel, watch Sci-Fi and buy the latest electronic anything. He loved a good beer, pizza and a good movie.

He leaves behind his father, siblings William V. Mason, Charlotte (Matthew) Baldwin, Edmund Mason, nephews and nieces- Corey Yovich, Jessica Brisley, Cole Baldwin, Teila Baldwin, and Kyle Mason, great nephew Beckett Baldwin and future great niece Kinsley Baldwin.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother in 2019.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 13 from 3:00pm-6:00pm with Funeral Service Wednesday, June 14 at 10:00am at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home 526 W Prospect Rd Ashtabula, OH 44004. Paul will be laid to rest at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Charlotte Baldwin.
