Paul F. Brunarski III
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Francis Brunarski III of Leroy Township, Ohio. He was taken from us far too soon, at the age of 63, on August 17, 2023. His battle with lung cancer showed us his courage and strength while always facing this challenge with the utmost positivity.
Paul passed away with his best friend, his wife Sarah right there by his side; just like she has been every day of their 39 years of marriage. Paul was surrounded with love by his three daughters: Nichole Burnarski, Margaret Burnarski, and Olivia Burnarski, he was so proud of his girls and loved them so dearly.
Simple pleasures like time with his family was so important to him. He always enjoyed dinners out and holiday gatherings. In fact, Paul was notorious for making way too much food; but that was how he showed his love – through food and humor. Anyone who knew Paul was lucky to experience such a helpful, fun, kind, and charismatic guy with an admirable and impeccable work ethic.
Paul cherished his “work family” at Heinens where he was the meat department manager; he loved his co-workers and loved meeting new customers and getting to know them over the years. Paul simply loved life and he had so much more to give. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Bruno) who he married almost 40 years ago on Sept. 17, 1983; his 3 daughters: Nichole Brunarski, Margaret Brunarski, and Olivia Brunarski; and his sister Carla (Mark) Gabele.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth (Cipriani) Brunarski, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 20, 2023, at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 323 S. Broadway St., Geneva, Ohio. Calling hours will be from 1:00-3:00 with funeral service starting at 3:00.
