Patrick Grady Obituary

Patrick Michael Grady, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 13, 1970, the son of George and Eileen (Habaly) Grady. Pat grew up in Lake County and graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1988.

In January of 1991 he met his one true love, Angela Marie Buemi, and on August 23, 1996 she became his wife.  Their nearly 30-year marriage was a true partnership built on unwavering love, deep friendship, and mutual devotion. Together, they created a happy and loving home and raised two daughters, who were the pride and joy of his life. Pat’s greatest happiness came from being a husband and father, and he never missed an opportunity to show his family how deeply he cared for them. Everything he did was with them in mind.

Pat dedicated 25 years of his life to AT&T, where he served as the manager of the Network Operations Center. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to doing his job well. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family, always striving to give them the best life possible. Over the years, he built lasting friendships with his coworkers, who became like an extended family to him.

Outside of work, Pat found joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, biking, camping, kayaking, and swimming. He also loved cooking and foraging for mushrooms. A self-proclaimed meteorologist, Pat closely followed weather patterns and radar, always keeping a watchful eye to ensure his family was safe and prepared. His attentiveness and care were constant reflections of his deep love for those closest to him.

Above all, Pat will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and a man who worked tirelessly for the people he loved. His life was defined by his dedication to his family and his commitment to providing for them, and his presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; his daughters, Jessica (Troy) Meadows and Danielle (Matt Simon) Grady; his siblings, Cindy (George) Yopko, George “Butch” (Jeanette) Grady, and Ryan Grady; his mother- and father-in-law, Ugo and Lucille Buemi; his sisters-in-law, Carla (Jeff) Mazza and Melissa (Anthony) Riggs; and his brother-in-law, Joe (Angela) Buemi; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2017 and his mother in 2022.
