Patricia A Montgomery, 79 of Geneva died Friday (August 14th) at her daughter’s home. She was born June 24, 1941 in Geneva, Ohio the daughter of Forrest and Dorothy (Woodrich) Miller.
She was a graduate of Geneva High School and had worked as a cook at various area restaurants, retiring from food service at Geneva Hospital.
She was a Girl Scout Leader when her daughters were young. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Most of all she looked forward to special time spent with family.
Surviving her is her brother, Timothy (Ann) Miller of Muncie, Indiana; her five children, Dianna (Garry) Culton of Geneva, Gerald (Lori) Montgomery of Texas, Mary (Michael) Kovacic of Austinburg, Caroline (Sonny) Hall of Jefferson, and Sarah (Mike) Bachmann of North Ridgeville; and daughter in law, Terry Montgomery Barnes; 12 Grandchildren Chad, Heather, Rachelle, Jennifer, Casey, Ebony, Corry, Abigail, Olivia, Kelsey, Hayley and Charlie; 3 Great Grandchildren Payton, Callie and Gracie; special aunt, Louise Mikita and many cousins including Darrel Kangas who was like a sister.
At the family’s request private services were held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when everyone can gather safely.
