Patricia Ann Huston (“Patty”), 83, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026.
She was born on July 24, 1942, in Southwest Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to James and Sarah (Cask) Gribbin.
Patty was a proud graduate of East Cleveland High School and later married the love of her life, John Huston, on September 12, 1970.
She dedicated 25 years of her professional career as a secretary with Prudential Insurance before retiring in 1992. Prior to her marriage, Patty devoted herself to her faith and was a committed participant of the Ursuline Sisters in Cleveland from 1961 to 1967. During this time, Patty had the life-long, memorable opportunity to serve as a teacher for several first-grade classes. Her faith always remained a key component of her life and she openly celebrated her blessings with others. With this mindset, Patty often found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved dogs, enjoyed crocheting, and was a loyal Cleveland Cavaliers fan. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Wittenmyer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Huston, and her parents.
A private graveside service will be held on April 10 at the Austinburg Center Cemetery.
