Norma Jean (Hughes) Davis

Norma Jean Davis, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 19, 2025.

She was born on February 18, 1939 in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Herman and Ethel (Hamrick) Hughes.

Norma graduated in 1957 from Ashtabula High School 

On June 7, 1958 she married Robert E Davis and together God blessed them with 65 years of love and commitment, as well as blessing them with two daughters who went on to bless them with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norma was a devout Christian and had a beautiful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  She loved gardening and reading. Norma lived her life centered around her family and the love that she had for them.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis (Jeff) Hines and Linda (Daryle Corley) Reho; her grandchildren: Samantha (Zachary) Dawson, Bryanna (Patrick) Hines, Nathan (Kirsten) Hines, and Jeremiah Hines; her great-grandchildren: Parker, Conner, Olivia, Dominic, Cooper, Ayden, Finn,  and Jackson; and her sister in law Patty Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert on November 5, 2023, her grandson, Robbie Reho;  as well as her brothers Kenneth and Gordon Hughes. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Fleming-Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson St., Jefferson, OH. Calling hours will be held from 11:00-12:00 with her funeral service will start at noon with Pastor Kevin Phillips officiating the services.  Burial will follow in Plymouth Maple Grove Cemetery.
