Nicole Marie (Schupska) Tabor, 43, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on August 19, 1980, in Conneaut, Ohio; the daughter of Brenda and Gary Jerauld of North Kingsville and Rick and Vicki Schupska of Ashtabula.
Nikki graduated from Edgewood High School in 1999 and went on to attend Kent State University and Erie Institute of Technology.
Nikki was never the type to be the loudest in the room but naturally ended up being the most beautiful one. She had a gentle kindness and soft soul. For such a quiet spirit, she was an exceptional boy mom. She embraced all the high energy and dirty clothes. Motherhood was her priority. Her greatest accomplishment was raising an amazing young man. She worked many years as a surgical technician to provide a beautiful life for the two of them. Nikki loved all things wellness. Cooking healthy, self-care and exercise. Being outdoors biking through trails and walking as sunshine touched her face brought her joy. She found beauty in simplicity. Her faith and fellowship through Lenox Christian Fellowship Church was a powerful contribution to her fight against cancer. Each day mattered to her and she did all she could to have more time. Time to cherish being a mother, daughter, sister and friend.
She is survived by her parents; her son, Kaiden Robert Tabor; her grandmother, Lonnie VanGilder of Ashtabula; her siblings, Arin (Ryan) Franklin of Geneva and Michael Schupska of Kent and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023, from 2:00p-4:00p with a funeral service to begin at 4:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio.
The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson Health Care and Bella Care Hospice for the kindness, and compassion they showed Nikki in her last weeks of life.
For those wishing to make a memorial contribution, they can be made to Nikki’s son, Kaiden Tabor or Bella Care Hospice.
