Nicholas Fredrick DelMonico, 72, passed away on June 3, 2023, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was born on April 16, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Victor DelMonico and Dorothy (Zuchelli) Reese.
Nick graduated from Benedictine High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army.
He was a carpenter by trade and worked in construction; he was a member of the Local 407 for thirty-five years. He built both towers at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, he was the past Captain of the Guardians Motorcycle Club and attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He also enjoyed playing pinochle and loved to cook for his family and friends. He was a dedicated Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.
He is survived by his loving children: Jay DelMonico, Nicholas (Alyssa) DelMonico, Tony (Kaitlin) DelMonico, Steve, Nikki and April, his grandchildren: Anthony, Jr., D’Angelo, McKailey, Preston, Emberlain, Wyatt, Kylah, Elisabeth, Maddie, Anna, David, Veronica, Jay, Jr., Darian and Deanna and his great-grandchildren, Elijah DelMonico, Christopher and Addison and his siblings, Michael, Bobby and Marge.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his late wife, Linda DelMonico.
A Celebration of Life will be held in late July, details will be announced at a later date.
