Nancy M. Davis

SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP- Nancy M. Davis passed away peacefully October 25, 2021 on her 88th birthday.

She was born on October 25, 1933 in Ashtabula the daughter of Allen G. and Lucille (Smith) Larson and has been a lifetime area resident.

She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School in 1950 and received her bachelor’s degree in education from Kent State University in 1954 where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She taught elementary for two years in the Edgewood School system.

She was also employed by the Ashtabula County School Employee Credit Union for 18 years as a bookkeeper and treasurer.

She enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy, cooking, the beach and was an avid sports fan especially the Browns and Ohio State.

Surviving her are her four children, Meghan (Rees) Davis of Ashtabula, James (Michelle) Davis of Houston, Texas, Lori Bretschneider of Owensboro, Kentucky and Peter (Kathy) Davis of Ashtabula; seven grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Jonathan (Natalie) Davis, Lauren Davis, Katy (Bryan) Coin, Audry Bretschneider, Stephanie Davis and Andrea Davis. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Robert and a brother, Ronald Larson.

Funeral service will be Wednesday (October 27th) at 11:00 am at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1342 West Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Pastor Mark Mong officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday (Today) from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.
