Michael Bradley Stevenson, 33, passed away on August 26, 2022, at his home in Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was born on July 12, 1989, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Denise (Gabriel) Stevenson, Jr.
When he was a child, he enjoyed playing Midget Football, Little League Baseball and fishing. He always had a love for music; and having a great audio system in his car was more important than the car itself.
Michael worked as a Supervisor at Plastpro Inc. in Ashtabula, where he truly loved his job, and his team of coworkers. They always worked hard, worked safely, and did the job right; but he made sure they had fun doing so.
Michael was one of the silliest and goofiest guys you will ever meet. He brought laughter to so many friends and family; a good laugh is something you could always count on from Mike. His smile could light up a room. He may have struggled for many years with addiction; but he always seemed to overcome the bad because with Mike it was always the good that would shine through, he still accomplished so many achievements in his life that made his family so very proud. His greatest accomplishment in his life was by far being the father of the most precious little girl in the world, his daughter Millie.
He is survived by his parents Denise Gabriel-Stevenson and Gene Stevenson, Jr., his daughter, Millie Stevenson, she was his world and his little “Millie-Monser”; his siblings: Amber (Matt Richardson) Stevenson and Amanda Stevenson; his loving grandmother, JoAnn “JoJo” Gabriel; his aunts and uncles: Jennifer (Shawn Telisman) Ransom, Shawn (Monica) Gabriel, Diana “Lynn” (Todd Logan) Northrop; his Godparents, Marlene and Danny Rossette, his “good girl” Jessie, that he loved and adored; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Gabriel, his sister, Madilyn Shay Stevenson and his paternal grandparents, Eugene Sr. and Alma Stevenson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 6:00p-8:00p and on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 10:00a-11:00a with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Stevenson officiating the services in the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 West Prospect Street in Ashtabula. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in N. Kingsville.
The family would like to thank all of his true friends that have helped him along the way. Also Judge DiGiacomo and her amazing and supportive staff, Michael always praised her program for helping him achieve his sobriety. And to close, in Mike fashion; as he would always say, “Bing – Bong”.
