Michael W. Cox

Michael W. Cox-Stewart, 60 of Plymouth Township passed away on August 16, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Michael was born December 19, 1961, in Gatesville, Texas, the son of Donald and Addie (Tackett) Stewart.

He was a 1980 graduate of Ashtabula High School. He worked in the construction trades specializing in concrete work.

Michael loved watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians; and he enjoyed Bingo, but his favorite thing in life was family; he loved being “Uncle Mike”. Mike was each of his nieces and nephews favorite uncle – he was always so much fun and loved and adored all of them as if they were his own children.

He is survived by his parents; his sisters: Kathy (Joseph) Sharpe and Connie (Douglas) Bagnall; his many nieces and nephews: Jessica (Logan) Vance, Robert (Judy) Gephart, Douglas (Zachary) Bagnall, Jason (Danielle) Sharpe, Raymond Sharpe, Brooke (Jared) Laurick, Jacob Bagnall, Addison Bagnall, Denise Eidens; and his dear friend and former wife of twenty years, Patti Cox.

He was preceded in death by his sister Debra Bernardo in 2017.
