Marvin “John” Paden, 82, passed away on November 12, 2023, at the Country Club Retirement Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was born on July 22, 1941, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, the son of Paul T. and Doris (Bechtel) Paden.
On November 12, 1961, exactly sixty-two years ago John married the love of his life, Vicki L. Cline; together they created many wonderful memories that will be cherished for many years to come.
John was a dedicated employee of Millenium Chemicals as a Chemical Operator for thirty-three years until his retirement in 1998.
John proudly served his country from 1959 to 1962 as a member of the United States Army.
He enjoyed fishing trips in Canada, camping at Pymatuning Lake and meeting once a month for breakfast with his old work buddies. John had fourteen years of RV/Motorhome travel across the country to places such as California, Texas and Florida.
He is survived by his beautiful bride, Vicki; his beloved children, Daniel Paden and Janine (Mark Sintic) Paden; his brother, Dennis (Joanne) Paden and his grandchildren: Keith Paden, Samantha Baker, Danielle (Jeremy) Kirsch, Tyler Paden, Cari (Nick Mann) Getz and Kaylee (Logan) Hurst.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with John’s known wishes there will not be any services held.
