Marian Jean (Flack Morgan) Sullivan**
**July 7, 1932 – May 13, 2026**
Marian Jean Sullivan, age 93, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at Tidewell Hospice House, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on July 7, 1932, in Sparks, West Virginia, Marian was the daughter of Tyree and Jessie (Copenhaver) Flack. At the age of nine, she moved with her family to Ohio, where she later graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950.
In 1953, Marian married Wilber Morgan, and together they welcomed two children, Marcia and Douglas. After Wilber's passing when Marian was only 32 years old, she demonstrated remarkable strength and determination by attending cosmetology school and building a successful career as the owner of her own salon.
In 1969, she married Rollin Sullivan. Together they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage, creating a life filled with love, laughter, family, and cherished memories until his passing on Christmas Day in 2006.
Marian found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved gathering with friends to play cards, preparing delicious casseroles, and baking treats for family near and far. Her home was always filled with warmth and hospitality. She enjoyed attending church, tending to her flower gardens and spending quiet moments completing word-search puzzles.
More than anything, Marian treasured her family. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, faith, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Sullivan; her parents, Tyree and Jessie Flack; and her sisters, Ruth, MaryLou, and Connie.
She is survived by her sister, Lenora Evans; her brother, Donald (Donna) Flack; her children, Marcia Sugiarto and Douglas (Mary) Morgan, Cheryl Sullivan Volpe, Danny (Terry) Sullivan, Paul Sullivan, Wendy (Robert) Sullivan, and Terri (Jefferson) Hays; her grandchildren Christopher, Stephanie, Marissa, Shelby, Drew, Katie, Sarah, Cherie, Jefferson, Cory, Jennifer, Heather, Misty, Jessica, Paul, Lacey, Alyssa, and Missy; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on June 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Jefferson Church of the Nazarene in Jefferson, Ohio, followed by a funeral service. A dinner will be served afterward in the fellowship hall.
Marian's ashes will be laid to rest at Oakdale Cemetery on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in a private family burial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice House, 1158 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
Though our hearts are saddened by her loss, we are grateful for the many years of love, guidance, and treasured memories she gave us. She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
