Moonlight’s Kiss
Evening and the morning are a day.
Why ever was it turned around that way?
The darkness and the light, seems an awful slight.
To all who go sleeping through the night.
If one would study out the nighttime sky
With all the wondrous stars passing by;
It would seem a shame to miss the season of this bliss
And shadow of the Earth on moonlight’s kiss.
