Maria S Cora

Maria S. Cora, 63, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2021. She passed away peacefully at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on February 12, 1958, the daughter of Anastacio Cora and Ana Diaz.
Maria was 1977 graduate of Ashtabula High School.
She loved praying and singing in the church choir.
Maria loved the Lord with all her heart and was an angel on Earth; she cared and loved everyone. If you were hungry, she fed you; if you needed to talk, she was always there to listen; If you needed a place to stay, her doors were always open; If you needed money, she would give you her last dollar. She held no grudges and never judged anyone. But most of all Maria loved her family. Her daughters and her grandchildren they were her world, she was so very proud of all of them, and she will be missed so very dearly.
Maria is survived by her three daughters: Ana (Juan Rivera-Alameda) Rivera; Marisol (Luis Navarro) Tirado-Cora, and Santa Maria (Darryl) Wyatt; Nine grandchildren: Markeis Cora, Juan Rivera Jr., Destiny Rivera, Mariana Rivera, Anthony Navarro, Joel Navarro, Amante Wyatt, Angel Wyatt, and Aviana Wyatt: her brother Pablo (Elizabeth Santana) Cora-Diaz; and her sisters: Cruz Cora-Diaz, and Regina Rios.
She is preceded in death by her parents a brother; Felix Santiago; Cousin; Louisa (Miguel) Santiago, who was like a sister to her.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 24, 2021, from 6:00-8:00, at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 West Prospect Road. Ashtabula, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home; burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery.
