Lynn Charles Schantz, 65, passed away on March 26th, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born on November, 1st, 1955 in Homestead, Pennsylvania the son of Ray and Betty (Stump) Schantz.
Lynn married the love of his life Amy F. (Petrick) Schantz on August 8th, 1981. Together they raised two wonderful children. Together they built a life.
After high school, Lynn attended Penn State University for two years in a pre-med track. He left school early to run the family business. Lynn spent those years as an avid horseman with numerous achievements. For the past 17 years, Lynn was in transportation and succeeded in working his way up to CEO. He was a self-made man. Lynn was a proud member of HOG (Harley Owner Group), AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association), Ashtabula Elks, and NRA (National Rifle Association). Lynn was a passionate outdoorsman who enjoyed firearms, hunting and fishing. Lynn had a great affinity for all creatures, his greatest being his horses and his dogs. But there was nothing he loved more than his wife, his children, and a great round of golf, riding his Harley, aces full, and a good cigar. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix and there was nothing he didn't know. He will be deeply and forever missed.
