Lisa Geho Obituary

Lisa Boettner Geho, 49 of Austinburg passed away on Wednesday (June 10th) at the Cleveland Clinic after a long illness. She was born August 20, 1970 in Garfield Heights, Ohio the daughter of Frederick and Heidi (Gerdes) Boettner.

She was a graduate of Revere High School in Bath, Ohio and received her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. She was a co-owner along with her husband of Falls Stamping and Welding; Syntech Data Solutions and she was a co-owner and manager of LLRR Property Investment Group.

Lisa was an accomplished horse woman who competed in in National Arabian Horse Shows and she also rode western pleasure, hunt style and side saddle. Throughout her horse-riding career Lisa won many ribbons and metals. She and her sister, Lori, often rode together in many shows.

Lisa and Ryan loved their trips to the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN where they enjoyed hiking and being on the pontoon at Lake Douglas. She loved country music and supported several animal rescue organizations and shelters. She was a huge Browns fan and attended many games and she was a member and past officer of the Kent Browns Backers. Lisa loved having a good time with friends and family.

Surviving her is her loving husband, Ryan T. Geho; her mother, Heidi Boettner; her father, Rick Boettner; her sister, Lori (Doug Burger) Taft; Jason Taft; two nephews, Jacob and Jeffrey Taft; her maternal grandmother, Lola Gerdes; her aunt, Nancy (Bob) Wysenski, sons Jim and Matt; her uncle, John (Lois) Gerdes and sons John and Joe; her in-laws, Don and Liz Sims of Geneva and Bob and Linda Geho of Nokomis, Florida; a brother-in-law, Cory (Alex) R. Geho of Mentor and the best cats ever, Smokester, Snickers and Mitten.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John Gerdes and her paternal grandparents, Fred and Eloise Boettner.

Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to Harbor Cat Rescue, 1016 Joseph Ave., Ashtabula, OH 44004 or online at www.harborcatrescue.org.
