Kirk Alan Williams

January 16, 1956 ~ May 2, 2020 (age 64)

Kirk A. Williams, age 64, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his residence in Jefferson.

He was born January 16, 1956 in Warren, the son of the late Ray & Mabel (Davis) Williams.  Kirk grew up in Ashtabula, attended Harbor High School, joined the service in his senior year and graduated from Karlsruhe High School in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Kirk was a proud U. S. Army veteran, serving 18 years of active duty and finished his career in the U. S. Army Reserves.  Much of his veteran career was spent in Germany but was also stationed in Colorado and Maryland, where he was honored to be a track vehicle repairman and instructor and working with the M-1 Abrams Tank.  Kirk was one of the “Road Dogs” with the 517th Maintenance Company, the 51st Maintenance Battalion.

Kirk has lived in Jefferson since 2002 and has worked at King Luminaire the past 15 years.  He was a member of the Jefferson Eagles Aerie Lodge #3881 where he previously served as President and was currently a Trustee.  Kirk enjoyed “tinkering”; he could fix just about anything.

Crudele; a son, Christian Williams in Germany; Eileen’s children who he loved as his own, Jennifer (Mario, II) Scutella of Carmel, IN and their children, Angel, Mario, III & Raven; Michael Crudele of Jefferson and his children, Caleb, Jon, Andy & Vinny; a sister, Linda Taylor of N. Canton and a half-sister, Tammy Williams of Geneva.
