Kevin Mitchell Saunders

Kevin Mitchell Saunders, age 54, of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, surrounded, cared for, and loved by family in Fairfax, Virginia.

Born on February 21, 1966, in Washington D.C., he was the son of Edwin Saunders and Heidi Golbach.

Kevin worked proudly as a union electrician with the IBEW for over thirty-five years, travelling and working all over the country with his union brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving step-parents, Janet and Don Conway of Fairfax, Virginia; two beautiful daughters, Edi and Desirae Saunders of Jefferson, Ohio, and three rambunctious sons, Mitchell Saunders of Wheeling, West Virginia, Christian Saunders of Cleveland, Ohio, and Macon Saunders of Jefferson, Ohio; a brother, Robert Saunders of Bluemont, Virginia; a sister, Danielle (Andrew) Mudge of Fairfax, Virginia; a mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Raymond Burns of Jefferson, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law Renee and Brian Burns of Jefferson, Ohio, and six nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Saunders and Heidi Golbach, and his wife, Margaret (Burns) Saunders.

A visitation will be held Saturday, 11/7/20, from 12-2 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W.
